Surreal or what? This Salvador Dali Portrait Watch showcase's the artist's flair for the dramatic. His well-groomed, flamboyant iconic mustache tells the time. He seems to stare off in a dream-like trance as an ant ticks the seconds around him. Ants had been part of his famous dream-like paintings such as the Melted Clock.
Watch is a unisex size. Watch face is 1 1/4" diameter. Black leather band is 9 1/4" long. Comes gift boxed. Japanese quartz movement. 1 year warranty. Yet another amusing product by the Unemployed Philosopher's Guild.
SALVADOR DALI
(May 11, 1904 - January 23, 1989): Dali was almost as famous for his eccentricity and exhibitionism as for
his Surrealist paintings, which he called hand-painted dream
photographs. Dali was influenced by the writings of Sigmund Freud and
his emphasis on erotic imagery and the subconscious. In addition to
painting, Dali also made surrealist ventures into filmmaking (with Luis
Bunuel, Un Chien Andalou), advertising and the ballet.
