# Greek Minoan Bees Necklace from Crete with Chain Necklace Gold Plate

The **Minoan Bee jewelry design** was found in the Old Palace cemetery at Chrysolakkos, outside the Palace of Malia, the third-largest Minoan Palace on the island of Crete, in Greece. It dates back to the Bronze Age during the Protopalatial Period (1800 - 1700 BC). This is a very detailed representation of two bees carrying a drop of honey to their honeycomb. The two bees flank the drop of honey at the center in perfect symmetry.

**Greek Minoan Bees Pendant from Crete with Chain Necklace** is made from 24K gold-plated pewter. Pendant has an 18-inch gold-plated chain. Pendant Measures: 1.5 in H x 1.5 in W x 1/8 in Thick. PN 7265. Made in the USA.
