# Islamic Palm Tree Geometric Teardrop Shape Pendant Necklace 2L

This **Islamic pendant** was recreated from one of the oldest examples of Islamic jewelry. The main design consists of a realistic **palm trunk** that supports a stylized tree bearing half-palmettes and trefoils. In the center is a **heart-shaped** unit enclosing a **pair of birds** with half palmette wings.

The composition of the piece indicated that it belongs to the early Islamic Period. Syria(?) 8th century A.D.  
  
From the treasures of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah, Kuwait National Museum.
