This portrait by Modigliani is part of a series of female studies he completed. He was fascinated with women in an unidealized way. This brown haired woman has blue eyes seemingly unfinished. She looks at us without an expression and holds her modest coat closed. Her face is simplified to an oval shape atop an elongated neck.

Modigliani's painting of Blue Eyed Woman of 1917 (Femme Yeux Bleu) is here adapted as a desktop statue. It is part of a series of collectible figures showcasing Modigliani's unique style, important to the development of early modern art.

Amedeo Modigliani's work is recognized immediately by many people because of the typical elongated shapes . His paintings show his passion for sculpting, a craft which he had to give up in 1915 due to ill health (b. 1884 - d. 1920). He was born in the Tuscan town of Livorno and received his academic education in Florence and Venice. In 1906 he established himself in the famous Montmartre area in Paris, where his talent was instantly recognized by the East European avant-garde.
