Selket Hekenu Rose Jasmine Health Protection Egyptian Incense Sticks - 3 PACKPN# F-010
Selket Hekenu Rose Jasmine Health Perfume Egyptian Incense Sticks. The formulation of this perfume appears on the east wall of the Temple, Edfu's laboratory, next to the chamber of the king's statue. The Hekenu needed a full year to prepare it. The base consisted of pulp squeezed from the pod of the carob tree (the Egyptians used this pulp because it was odorless and perfectly fixed the other aromas), Mirra (antyw) and Olibano (ab).
Our Gods of Egypt incense sticks collection is based on actual incense formulas from ancient Egyptian papyrus for enjoyment. Discover for yourself the fragrance of each deity.
