This Hellenistic relief of the Three Graces (ca. 2nd century BC), daughters of Zeus and constant companions of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Aglaia stands for beauty, Euphrosyne for joy, and Thalia for abundance and luck. Here, they almost seem to dance. The lively style and the suggestion of rhythmic movement are characteristic of this period of late Greek sculpture.

This small scale relief shows the remnants of an original wall hanging. Two ladies face forward while the woman at center is shown with arms outstretched from behind. The mini figurine can rest on the table like a little paperweight or prop upright on the included stand. Give it to your beloved in appreciation of her beauty.
