Knights of the Round Table King Arthur Legend Medieval Reenactment Sculpture 11WPN# 6903C
The Knights of the Round Table were those men awarded the highest order of Chivalry at the Court of King Arthur. The table at which they met was created to have no head or foot, representing the equality of all the members. Sir Thomas Malory describes the Knights' code of chivalry as: to never do outrage nor murder, always to flee treason, to by no means be cruel but to give mercy unto him who asks for mercy, to never force ladies, gentlewomen or widows, not to take up battles in wrongful quarrels for love or worldly goods.
The King and Knights: King Arthur, Sir Launcelot, Sir Gaheris, Sir Beivere, Sir Lamorak, Sir Gawaine, Sir Galahad, Sir Tristan, Sir Gareth, Sir Percivaif, Sir Bors, Sir Ceraint, Sir Kay.
This interpretation illustrates the Knights of the Round Table as individual figures raising their swords in unity about a sculpted round table. Their names appear around the edge. This statue set is an educational prop for children learning about the middle ages to adults still loving the lore of ancient Europe, Courts and Castles, and the tales of Knights and Chivalry.
"I really love how all the knights have individual facial characteristics and each hold a unique helmet based on historic designs found in art museums" -- Nina, Curator
