As the author of the Odyssey – the first great piece of literature in the Western tradition – Homer is believed to have been a blind poet who lived around 750 BC and originated from the Greek island of Chios.

Portrait statue is made to look like an ancient fragment of sculpted marble.

Replica is made from resin and stone, black base as pictured, and measures 11 in H x 6 in W x 6.5 in D including base. Head removes from stand. Weighs approx. 5 lbs.
