Oak Park Skylight Autumn Colors with Base Stained Glass by Frank Lloyd Wright 15.4H -

  • 90.99 USD

This complex rectilinear design from 1897 is adapted from one of the two matched pair of art glass skylights in the entrance to Frank Lloyd Wright's studio, attached to his home in Oak Park, and can still be seen there. The skylights, with the autumnal coloration, alter with the season and the changing quality of sunlight - and leading into his two story octagonal studio, must have been an impressive sight for first time clients at the dawn of the twentieth century. The colors are warm browns and golds.

This Frank Lloyd Wright Collection product is authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Taliesin West, Scottsdale, Arizona, U.S.A. A portion of proceeds from this product supports the conservation and education programs of the foundation.

Stained glass is made from a kiln-fired technique which ensures the bright vibrant colors will never fade. The glass is set in a wood frame with a wood base. The glass is removable from the base and comes with a hanging chain which you can attach if you prefer to display it on the wall.

Glass measures: 15.4"H x 6.84"W x 0.75"D. Base measures: 6.84"W x 2.75"L x 0.75"H.
