This sculpture is a classic reproduction of Giambologna's Mercury in Flight Statue. It is made of resin and crushed marble from Italy. Hermes / Mercury is shown being blown in flight by the wind identified as a young man. His wings on his legs assist him.
Measures 14.7 in H x 6 in W x 2.5 in D. Weighs 2 lbs. Comes with tag showing Made by ISAC A. Santini.
The statue has some repairs as pictured -- see the reattachment at the base to the head -- however it is stable and intact. It also has some greyness over the white.
The statue would make a good project for repainting to bring out all of it's beauty. Perhaps in white or white and gold? Let your creativity take over.
