DaVinci Vitruvian Universal Man Arms Outstretched in Circle Statue Bronze Finish 8.5HPN# 7990
Renaissance master, Leonardo da Vinci combines science and art together to make a masterpiece that serves both the art world and intellectual community. This artwork -- Proportions of the Human Figure (Italian, c. 1500. by Leonardo Da Vinci) -- is based on a drawing by daVinci which aligned the proportionality of the human figure to the universe. The drawing and text are sometimes called the Canon of Proportions or, less often, Proportions of Man.
The Vitruvian Man Universal Man by Leonardo daVinci is made from cold cast resin fused with bronze powder (bonded bronze), measures 8.5 in H x 8.5 in L x 1.75 in D (at base, 0.75 in at top).
It is a self standing statue on base as pictured.
