Boulder Crouching Man Cement Garden Statue by Frank Lloyd Wright 12HPN# 3575Z
This is a reproduction of the Boulder Crouching Man Garden Sculpture which appeared on piers flanking the entry to Frank Lloyd Wright's 1898 architectural studio in Oak Park, Illinois. Frank Lloyd Wright envisioned two sculptures of a solid, crouching figure of a man. For this majestic figure, he turned to sculptor Richard Bock. The Boulder symbolizes the struggle of the oppressed and shackled soul to break its bonds and find self expression. (PN 3575Z)
