Nudes Human Form Studies

Part of an artist's journey is familiarizing herself with the human form -- the length of the limbs, angle of the back, tilt of the head, proportions of waist to hips. To convincingly portray a person, the artist must demonstrate to us the body's bulk beneath the clothes. Once involved in this study, the artist looks so closely at the human body that it becomes a rhythmic combination of line, mass, and angle. This Nudes Human Form Studies Collection brings together a variety of artist studies of the male and female body.
