Monet and the Water Garden at Giverny
Monet built a water garden at his home in Giverny, in Normandy. He painted it for about three decades, from the late 1890s until his death in 1926.
The Water Lilies series runs to nearly 300 paintings. More than 40 are very large.
From Garden to Orangerie
Monet offered large panels to the French State after the 1918 Armistice. Eight compositions now hang in two oval rooms at the Musee de l'Orangerie in Paris.
Those rooms opened in 1927, about a year after his death. Impressionist earrings like these carry a hint of that calm. Explore more in our Monet and Renoir collection.
Light on Water
Monet painted the pond at different hours to catch changing light. Water, reflections, and floating blooms blend into one shimmering surface.
These Monet earrings echo that softness in blue, purple, and green. Monet Water Lilies jewelry like this reflects the calm of the pond. Triangle dangle earrings add a modern, geometric twist.
Wearing and Caring for Your Earrings
At 1 oz, these Monet earrings and triangle dangle earrings are easy to wear. Wear this Monet Water Lilies jewelry with white, gray, or soft blue. Wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Monet was a founder of Impressionism. The movement took its name from his 1872 painting Impression, Sunrise, and it focused on natural light painted outdoors. Impressionist earrings like these nod to that outdoor light.
