An adult Brachiosaurus consumed an estimated 440 to 880 lbs (200 to 400 kg) of plant matter daily, spending about two-thirds of its day eating. This authentic Brachiosaurus bone fossil is a fragment of Brachiosaurus femur recovered from the Morrison Formation of Utah - one of the most significant Jurassic fossil sites in the world.

Today the Brachiosaurus is known only from fossils found in the Morrison Formation of western North America - a fact that makes each fragment of this species a precisely documented and geographically specific specimen. This piece is approximately 0.5 in (2 cm) in size and is presented in a glass-topped riker display case measuring 4.5 in x 3.5 in with a small informational card also serving as the certificate of authenticity.
