Centaur and Lapith Metope from Greek Parthenon Frieze Wall Hanging 16H

This wall hanging reproduces one of the 92 metopes that formed decorative panels around the perimeter of the Parthenon Temple in Athens. The square panels illustrated the battles between the Centaurs and Lapiths from ancient Greek times.
