The Story Behind the Charlie Duck Wall Mount

Charlie began in a storybook. Artist Jessica Hiemstra wrote Eric and Eloise, a tale of unlikely friendship between a fox and a hare. The Eric + Eloise Collection launched in 2017 as a holiday offering. It has grown into a year-round series with a whole cast of characters. Charlie is the adventurous aviator of the woodland crew, forever ready for takeoff. As Eric and Eloise decor, Charlie carries a piece of that story into your home. Each piece is Jessica Hiemstra wall art with its own character.

Goggles and Leather Caps

Early aviators of the 1910s and 1920s wore leather caps and goggles to fly in open cockpits. This Charlie duck wall mount borrows that daring look. He appears all set for takeoff, with his head held high. As duck wall decor, he adds a touch of adventure to a hallway. Fans of animal art will enjoy his flair. His flying gear makes this Jessica Hiemstra wall art feel like a vintage adventure story.

The Woodland Crew Beside the Charlie Duck Wall Mount

Charlie keeps good company in this cast of Eric and Eloise decor. Beatrice is a bear in round glasses. Emerson is a top-hatted pheasant. Margie is a scarf-adorned doe. Louie is a bow-tied mouse. Avery is a pheasant in a fascinator. Eloise is a bespeckled fox. Eric is a mustached hare in a monocle. Eugene is a monocled moose. Frankie is a pipe-smoking buck. The collection celebrates friendship across differences. A quirky woodland crew finds belonging in one another. Each character has its own accessory and its own personality, so the cast invites collecting.

Hanging Your Charlie Duck Wall Mount

This Charlie duck wall mount has a keyhole slot on the back for hanging. At 6.4 lb, he should hang from a wall stud or a rated anchor. His slim shape suits a hallway, a boy's room or a study. His antique gold tone looks lovely against deep green or navy walls. Dust the duck wall decor with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the finish. Jessica Hiemstra wall art like this hangs well in any room. Eric and Eloise decor mixes easily with both vintage and modern pieces.
