Honor this valiant Celtic warrior with a soft prayer as you mourn the Dying Gaul slowly slipping away. He has fought bravely in Gaul's fifty-year war with the Greeks without armor and wearing only a Celtic torque around his neck. From the Capitoline Museum in Rome, this sculpture is a Roman copy after a Hellenistic bronze original from the 3rd century BC. It was found buried in Rome in the 1600s.

Made from plaster with a bright studio white finish, the Dying Gaul is suitable for interior use and measures 14 in H x 13.5 in W x 29 in L. Estimated 35-45 lbs.
