Guanyin, Bodhisattva of Compassion
Guanyin is a central compassion bodhisattva for Chinese and Vietnamese Buddhists. In India she is Avalokiteshvara, the one who looks down with compassion.
Indian and Tibetan images show a male figure. In East Asia the figure became a merciful mother-goddess.
Honey, Coconut and Patchouli
Honey and coconut sweeten the musk. Cedar adds a quiet woody base.
This musk patchouli perfume lingers softly. Find more in our Museumize fragrance collection.
Wearing and Storing
Wear it as a perfume, or mix a few drops into creams, soaps and oils.
Keep the bottle capped, upright, and away from heat and direct sun.
Wear this Kuan Yin perfume as a musk patchouli perfume for evenings. Its honey coconut scent is soft and fades gently. A Kuan Yin perfume also works as a compassion perfume oil. Those who love a honey coconut scent will find it sweet.
About Compassion in Buddhism
Many Buddhists turn to Guanyin for compassion and relief from trouble. Statues often hold a willow branch and a vase of nectar. A compassion perfume oil like this one borrows the mood only.
